ALSA Knowledge sharing sessions are designed for all officers, coordinators and executive members of LSS/A's to get together and discuss various topics of mutual interest. We are trialling a few different solutions so please register and details of how to connect will be made available, it will be a Skpye type solution.

 

ALSA Rules and Conference Competitions Review

8pm AEST Monday 18 April

Christian Slattery (ALSA Competitions Officer) will be hosting a session on the ALSA Competitions Rules with a view to updating and improving to create a nationally best practice standard. The long term ambition of this project will be that the rules can be used as a starting point for LSS/A's to use for their own competitions.

 

The Wellness Doctrine ‘managing one’s health and wellbeing’

Hosted by Jerome Doriasamy author of 'The Wellness Doctrine' who will talk to the group about issues of well-being at LSS/A's and resources available.

Careers Guide (How to and resources) and Social Media Strategy for LSS/As

Lachlan Robb (ASLA Careers Officer) will be joined by Max Burke and Anthony Lieu from Beyond Law to discuss resources for and how to complete a great Careers Guide. They will also talk about social media at LSS/A’s and how to maximise its impact.

-          Best services for creating and managing your own website

-          Mail Chimp (or similar communication tools)

-          Pros/cons of various ticketing services

-          Committee and law society management tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, etc.)
